Fairy Costume
When your son told you he wanted to wear a fairy costume for Halloween you were quite shocked and even a bit worried for him. When you told him that fairy costumes are for girls he didn’t care. He was adamant that that was what he wanted to dress up as. It’s not that you have anything against homosexuals. It’s just that you didn’t expect your son to turn into one, especially not at such a young age. What was your husband going to say when he found out what was going on? He would probably take him out to do manly things like chop wood and talk about women. It would all be for naught. If this is truly who your son is then you will support him with the love and caring a child should expect from a parent. You hope that one day your son will understand the sacrifices you’ve made for him to have a happy and comfortable life. Even if he never gets it, it’s still not going to stop you for making him feel great about himself for being who he is and being proud of it. If more people in the world took that attitude there would be a lot less hatred and animosity that we lived with.
