Costume for Boys

Is it a good idea for your six year old to make a costume for boys in a choir? If you want your son to be stigmatized for the rest of his life then please have him make all the costumes for the boys. What type of mother would put her son into that type of work with all that pressure? A child should have no worries other than to get up in the morning and have a good time in school or nursery. Laughing and trying hard at everything they do should be there only concerns. Sometime kids become a little wild and they get a bit out of control. When that happens a child needs to be taught a lesson. Don’t go too far with the punishment though. At the end of the day your child needs to learn from his mistake and also know that he is still loved no matter what. That is why it so important that the costumes for boys you make are each made with love and tenderness for the person it is being made for. Without that understanding the child will feel unloved and that problem can spiral out of control. That is the recipe for a child to grow up as a hater.

Question: Would you let your little girl or boy dress in a halloween costume meant for the other sex? Like a girl as scooby doo, they are meant for boys or a boy as kitty cat? Both can really be for either sex but, are mainly for the set in statement above

Answer: I think it's more accepted for a little girl to throw on a pirate costume than it is for a little boy to throw on a leotard and tutu. Sexist, maybe. But especially looking at slightly older costumes that are "sexy" even for kids. There's no way a "sexy nurse" costume on a boy will look the same as on a girl.
