Cat Costume
Your daughter wants to get a cat costume to wear for Halloween this year. Where does she come up with these ideas? Why can’t she choose something normal like a princess costume or a witch costume? She always needs to be so different especially from her brothers and sisters. They are all fine with the costumes that can be bought from off the shelf. Why can’t your daughter be easy going like them? She definitely gives you a run for your money. It seems like every little thing with her comes with a fight and an argument attached to it. She is wearing you thin and you don’t think that you can handle much more of her abuse until you get to the point where you snap. Where does all her negative and obnoxious behavior come from? The only thing you can think of is that there is something wrong with the messages and reinforcements she is getting from school. It’s not from TV, because you don’t allow your kids to watch TV. Maybe it’s your daughter’s way of getting back at her siblings for leaving her at the costume store twice in one week. You knew she was angry, she just didn’t say anything.
